Last updated: January 2025
By accessing the AfriRoute Logistics website or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
AfriRoute Logistics provides freight and transportation, warehousing and fulfillment, supply chain management, dedicated logistics support, and e-commerce/COD solutions. Each shipment is additionally governed by the terms on the applicable waybill, booking confirmation, or service agreement. Our service commitments are described in our Service Level Agreement.
All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Final charges may vary after physical inspection of the shipment. Invoices are due per the payment terms agreed at booking; late payment may result in suspension of services or storage charges.
You are responsible for providing accurate addresses, contact details, and cargo descriptions; ensuring goods are properly packaged and labeled; and complying with all applicable laws and customs regulations, including the accuracy of all shipping documentation.
We do not accept hazardous materials, illegal goods, explosives, firearms, currency, or any items prohibited by law or carrier regulations. We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or return any shipment that violates these restrictions, and to dispose of goods where legally required.
Goods are delivered to the address or receiver specified at booking. A signature by any person at the delivery address constitutes proof of delivery. If delivery cannot be completed after reasonable attempts, goods may be held at our facility with applicable storage fees. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Our liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of the waybill. Additional cargo insurance is available upon request at booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All claims for loss, damage, or non-delivery must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the delivery date or scheduled delivery date, with supporting documentation. Claims submitted after this period may be declined. Claim handling timelines are described in our Service Level Agreement.
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, government action, pandemics, or infrastructure failures.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dar es Salaam.
